More than 90 years of love for jewellery making.

FOPE is an Italian goldsmithing company which has evolved over time into an international fine jewellery brand. FOPEs headquarters and the production facilities are located in Vicenza, Italy, where the company was established in 1929.

Today, every piece of jewellery is still proudly made in-house and shipped to more than 50 countries in the world, fulfilling the founders vision which the brands name mirrors. FOPE, in fact, is an acronym and it translates into Factory of Jewellery Precious Export.

All FOPE creations share a distinctive character with the signature Novecento gold mesh chain they feature: a timeless classic turned into a true icon thanks to its elegant gold weave that varies in gauge and design. This signature jewellery represents a quintessentially Italian idea of style which has given worldwide success to the brand.

In 2007, the launch of Flexit represented the ultimate milestone for FOPE: the company patented an updated version of its own invention from the 1950s and introduced a brand new way of wearing gold jewellery.

The original Flexit system features dozens of tiny gold springs which are masterfully placed between each link of an 18 carat gold chain and render it fully flexible. The resulting bracelets (and rings) represent a ground-breaking idea of contemporary luxury.

FOPE's products and internal processes are inspired by the highest ethics. The company has always strived to create well-crafted beautiful jewellery that lasts forever. On top of this, it considers the impact generated by all its activities from the sourcing of gold and precious stones to its work-force’s wellbeing, from production to logistics, and from its environmental impact to jewellery traceability.

In order to substantiate its pledge to pursue sustainable goals, FOPE joined the Responsible Jewellery Council and became a certified member in 2014 - it also aims to influence positive change among all suppliers and stakeholders.
